Vulcan Nomad - Levelling A Big Bike

Levelling the big bike

Levelling the big bike

People often have trouble levelling their big bike and I have seen various methods such as putting a piece of timber under the side stand. This is particularly important in the case of a Vulcan Nomad as the bike has to be level in order to check the oil level and they have not made it easy to do this. The view glass is located in a awkward position and you have to be free of the bike in order to check. To see what I'm referring to, check out my oil change page here: Oil and Filter Change.

I have put together a short video below to show you how I use a very simple method to achieve a level bike. Hope it's useful but use at your own risk.
